Requirements.

Requirements and Methods for VAH certification of chemical disinfection procedures

VAH publishes a detailed description of laboratory tests and methods for efficacy testing of disinfectants and disinfection processes for hands, skin, surfaces, instruments, and textiles in addition to the specific requirements for VAH certification and listing of disinfectants for all activity spectrums and fields of application.

Ring trials.

In 2024 we offer two ring trials

Ring trial 2024-01, start 6 May 2024: Phase 2/Step 1, bactericidal efficacy against E. hirae, DIN EN 13272:2015 or VAH Method 9 (2019), registration deadline: 22 April 2024
Ring trial 2024-2, start 6 September 2024: Phase 2/Step 2, yeasticidal efficacy against C. albicans, Instrument disinfection (immersion disinfection), DIN EN 14562:2006 or VAH Method 15 (2019). For single bookings: 19 August 2024

All information on the test design and for documenting the results will be sent prior to start of the ring trial.
