Requirements.

Requirements and Methods for VAH certification of chemical disinfection procedures

VAH publishes a detailed description of laboratory tests and methods for efficacy testing of disinfectants and disinfection processes for hands, skin, surfaces, instruments, and textiles in addition to the specific requirements for VAH certification and listing of disinfectants for all activity spectrums and fields of application.

Requirements and methods for VAH certification are continually updated and adapted according to new scientific insights and application formats.

Ring trials.

2025 we offer three ring trials:

2025-01: February until April 2025, EN 16615/VAH method 14.2 with Candida albicans.
2025-02: June until August 2025, EN 14563 with Mycobacterium terrae.
2025-03: September until November 2025, EN 17387/VAH-Methode 14.1 with Staphylococcus aureus.

Deadline for the annual subscription: 14 February 2025.

The first two ring trial reports have been published on this website, the third ring trial is still ongoing. Registration for the 2026 ring trials will be possible in due time.
