Requirements.

Requirements and Methods for VAH certification of chemical disinfection procedures

VAH publishes a detailed description of laboratory tests and methods for efficacy testing of disinfectants and disinfection processes for hands, skin, surfaces, instruments, and textiles in addition to the specific requirements for VAH certification and listing of disinfectants for all activity spectrums and fields of application.

Requirements and methods for VAH certification are continually updated and adapted according to new scientific insights and application formats.

Ring trials.

2026 we offer three ring trials:

2026-01: EN 13727/VAH method 9 with Pseudomonas aeruginosa (registration deadline 23 January 2026)
2026-02: EN 14476 with Modified Vaccinia virus Ankara (registration deadline 24 April 2026)
2026-03: EN 17126/VAH method 18 with Clostridioides difficile (registration deadline 24 July 2026)

Deadline for the annual subscription: 23 January 2026.
