What is needed for certification?

Fees for VAH certificate issuance (as of 5 May 2023)

New application for certificate issuance for a disinfection procedure and inclusion in the disinfectant list: 2,200 € plus VAT, for application for certification of efficacy against viruses an additional 550 € plus VAT. The certificate is valid for three years.
Certificate renewal for a disinfection process and continuation in the disinfectant list with changes: 2,200 € plus VAT, for certificate renewal of efficacy against viruses additionally 550 € plus VAT.The certificate is valid for three years.
Certificate extension for a disinfection process and continuation in the disinfectant list without changes: 1,760 € plus VAT, for certificate extension of efficacy against viruses additionally 550 € plus VAT. The certificate is valid for three years.
Extension of an existing, valid certificate (e.g. addition of a fragrance variant, of another concentration-time relation, one or more activity spectra such as tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal): 550 € plus VAT. In case of a certificate renewal, the fee for the certificate renewal/re-certification is due. The certificate is then valid again for three years.
Product name change for certificates that are still valid, if nothing has changed except for the product name: 550 € plus VAT. In case of a certificate renewal, the fee for the certificate renewal/re-certification is due. The certificate is then valid again for three years.
